Server set up Rate Topic: -----

I keep trying to set one of my computers as a dedecated server.
When I start it. I or any of my friends cant find it on the net.
I did set up a lan_server.cfg file but the server cant be found . is there
other software I need or how can I get my friends to see that computer?

Do I need to install server tecnoligy on the computer that I want to run as
a server?

The LAN server config does not report to the master servers (used to track the game servers). You can modify the config and set dedicated to a value of 2, or you can use the inet config.

Or if all else fails, you should probably get a server where them FSK405 guys got theirs, that server rocks!
